Evidently a design that has withstood the test of time though. Here's a Casio that you can buy today. Not much difference in design IMO.

But yes, I think ugly too.

Calling that a "design" may be taking liberties. Grey face with an LCD quartz module is hardly aesthetically complex.

While not my favourite Breitling, i suppose its got a little bit of history.. but at 3,500Euros I think I can get a more historically significant Breitling that actually looks good.

I believe the seller is known to a forum member which may go someway to explain the 'optimistic' pricing.

I got only one of them in all my life. Why I have to sell such rarity for a cheap price ?

Moreover, it is just a price proposal which can be negotiated on.

And no one is forced by gun to buy, everybody is free to decide what he buys or sells at what price.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the rarely seen Laundro-Matic. It is primarily, and atypically for Breitling, aimed at the urban market. One of the distinctive features is calculation of how much the quarters you need for a certain amount of laundry will weigh. And instead of the usual water resistance rating it has a detergent and starch resistance rating.
