Hi all.
Im thinking about putting my 2007 blue dial superocean on a navy blue lizard strap for a different look.
Has anybody ever tryed this combo?

What are your thoughts... Will it work?

Any photos of such a combo?
thanks,
pete

I don't think Breitling made a lizard-skin strap in the correct lug-width for a SO. Generally Breitling only put OEM lizard on women's watches. If you really want lizard you'll have to buy non-Breitling, or have one custom-made by someone like ABP Paris.

Driver8,
There is a 100% authentic 20 mm lizard strap for sale at swisswatch store. They sell only orig. breitling products.

Do you think it would work on a blue face so? (The strap is blue) or is it over the top for this series.? It could be that it would go better on a windrider watch?

I stand corrected. It's been a while since I've owned an SO and I forgot they have 20mm lugs.

IMHO I think lizard is a bit too dressy for something like the SO..... but that's just my personal opinion.

I think that I feel the same. I could better fit a shark strap seeing that sharks come from the same waters that the superocean represents!

Have you looked at ABP? www.abp-paris.com. They have a lot of marine leather straps, and are very good quality.
