Post subject:  Opinions on the Ti Avenger M1 wanted

I was hoping to get some feedback from those of who do or have owned an Avenger M1. Pros, cons...
Would you guys consider a Ti Avanger M1 to be a durable watch?
Since it's Ti, do you consider it to be a light, medium or heavy watch?
I'm wanting to get a quartz piece for work, something if you scuff it, you can make it look nice again pretty easily. I usually don't like light watches, but the weight listed on the M1 seems to be not so light...hence the weight question.
Any opinions in this particular watch would be appreciated.
Thanks guys! I look forward to hearing what you have to say!

it is a great watch not heavy at all, i will consider it a medium weight watch, a light ti should be a aerospace.
So far it have been a great watch, mine was serviced and dial changed recently.
I received it in friday, like new, not a single scratch on it,its a very accurate superquartz time piece and will never let you down, i have the black dial one and i simply love it.

i will have a automatic breitling but this one you dont need to worry about anything, perfect for everyday use

as for looks has a respectable 44mm avenger case, and a nice dial imo, and of course a 1000m operacional chrono but i doubt anyone should worry about that
hope you like mine

It's interesting. All of a sudden I'm seeing a bunch of these on the used market, after not seeing any for several months. I just picked up a white dial one from TZ.

I have two other titanium avengers, a Chrono Avenger and a Seawolf. I love them both. The size and weight are great. And they're not to flashy. They feel really substantial on the wrist, but not annoying. If I wear my steelfish after wearing one of the Ti models, it feels really heavy.

Go for it!

So you nabbed the white dial one!!! :-)
I was looking at possibly picking that one up, whic is why I posted the question.
Let us know what you think about the dial color in comparison to your other one... I am not sure which dial color I want to get yet... I always lean towards black and grey, and thought about a white dial since I don't have any in my collection, yet I'm not sure I would wear it as much.... Hard to tell until you have one !
Thanks for the info!
I'll have to keep my eyes open... The white one on TZ was a fair price... There was another grey one up for sale, but asking way too much.
Congrats on the new piece!

The white dial is my favorite. I would like to pick one of these up, but they don't come up very often.

I owned for a couple of days many years ago (a yellow dial one) and took it back. I still think it's a really great looking watch, but I just couldn't get on with the lightness of the titanium. Ti is also a bit too "scratch-happy" for my liking. Oh and I personally struggled a bit paying what I did for a quartz watch.

I realise these are all very personal reasons for not overly liking it, but that was my experience of it.

That's was my main source of reluctance as well. But I got a great deal on one, so it made me feel better. And I figure having one quartz in the collection seemed ok.

The only thing I don't like about the M1 is it doesn't have an EOL (end-of-life) indicator for the battery.

When the battery is nearly dead the seconds hand will tick every 4 or 5 seconds instead of 1, so you know it's time to send the watch in and get a new battery.

Kind of a standard thing you'd expect in a quartz watch really... and at that price? :?
