Is it true that the Pilot Bracelet is made of solid links not hollow as the professional. This what an AD told me, I just cant find much info on it.

Thanks

All the bracelets have solid links, the Professional included. Not sure why your AD would suggest otherwise. :huh

Driver,

You are saying that all Breitling Bracelets are solid? I have been told otherwise, but I would like to know the real answer.

Thanks

Keith

SS and Gold - yes.
Gold links in TT are rolled.

I thought that but assumed I was being dumb if the AD said otherwise - should know better by now!

True (and I'm not getting into that debate again!!!), but they are still solid (i.e. not hollow), just two different metals - gold over steel.

Correct. They are all solid.

If you've ever handled an older model Rolex Submariner bracelet (which used to have hollow centre links) you'd instantly be able to tell the difference.

And at the low end of the market you will find watches with links made of a piece of metal bent into shape. These look very distinctive when you look at them end-on. Again, not something you could confuse with a Breitling bracelet if you were looking at both side by side.

Maybe we should re-start the Gold discussion, now that gold bullion is well over 1000$
