Well, I finally saw the Navitimer 125e Limited Edition Anniversaire today at my AD. I had gone in to trade my Seawolf for an Omega Seamaster Pro, but that is in another thread. I casually asked if they had received a Navitimer 125e yet, and they had indeed received their first one yesterday. This one is not with the black dial, but the new Panamerican Bronze dial. This combination with the brushed/polished case and the Air Racer bracelet has to be seen to be believed. There was a recent posting in the gallery section by Irf about his new Navitimer 125e, with some excellent photos - the best I have seen - of the watch with black dial and the Air Racer bracelet.
Having seen the watch in person, I believe that the bracelet absolutely suits the watch, and is even more special since it is exclusive to this model. The bronze dial in itself is a work of art, and the colour has also to be seen to be believed. This is now without a doubt the most beautiful Breitling I have seen to date - bar none.
It was a very dangerous thing for me to see that watch. I almost gave the AD a grand to hold it until I can get the cash next week. It is so tempting. I was quite surprised at the price: $7010 Canadian Dollars. I expected higher. It is almost identical to the new price of a Blackbird. I assumed - and I was correct - there will be absolutely no discounting on the price. I am neither surprised nor disappointed, having been totally mesmerized by the beauty of this watch. It is only 41mm diameter, as is my Omega Aqua Terra, but it actually wears quite a bit larger. After having traded my Seawolf for the smaller Omega today, I can't believe that I am actually contemplating getting this piece. That is, if it is still around when I finally make up my mind!
I have not yet even seen a photo of the bronze dial. Apparently there will be 2009 of each dial, though, which doesn't really make it as much of a Limited Edition. There is also a gold one, but I am not sure how many, nor did I even dare ask.
Just some thoughts on a truly beautiful timepiece.
The only other observation I could add, is that the applied markers and the gold Breitling "B" do not seem to stand out as well as on the black dial, although I have only seen pictures of the black dial version.
Cheers,
Carl

It's a beauty indeed.
Red gold comes in two dial colors, black and mercury silver - 125 of each.

I went to my only local ad which I wouldn't buy from just to see if they had this watch and of course he didn't. He tried to get me to buy a navitimer world which im dying for... Needless to say no discount from him not that I cared. He is scum and I wouldn't buy from him ever! but thats another thread...

Sounds like you might have a little bit of the old Breitling bug coming back there Carl!

Personally I find the 125 just a little too ordinary looking to be honest. It's certainly not offensive in any way at all, but it doesn't have that little bit extra for me. And I still can't warm to the Air Racer bracelet, even after seeing one in person.

But if you get one, we'd love to see some pics!
