I have a Breitling Rattrepante and would like to learn exactly which one it is as I understand they were released in different numbers of limited production. It has a display back with three small black timers within the face with black trim rings.
Can anyone tell me anything about this watch?

i think your best bet to get your question answered is to post in the breitling help forum thread.

With the displayback it sounds like you possibly have a ChronoRacer Rattrapante or Chrono Avenger Rattrapante. Display back Breitlings are not common and If this is the case you would have a fairly rare piece with the latter being much rarer than the former.
Could you post some pics or if you can't can you check the reference number on the back and let me know what it is.

Thanks.

I've moved this to the Breitling Discussion forum.

The simplest way (as br549 said) is to tell us the model number off the back of the watch. It will be in the format of a letter followed by 5 numbers - e.g. A22362.

Pictures would also be helpful too.

I'm going to be brave and guess.......

A Chrono Avenger 69.

But as others have said, a model number and photos will definitely help.

Good thought. It could be that as well. I didn't realize the Chrono Avenger 69 had the rattrapante function.
Thanks Roff.

Well personally I'm hoping the model number reads G34360. (Roff will know what I mean). And then I hope that the OP will fancy selling it to me for around the £500 mark! :D

The LE number certainly will! :D (Somehow I don't think this will be one of them or else the OP may have mentioned the nice gold rotor visible through the DB)

If this is a genuine CA Ratty then I have a feeling that D8 and I are going to be discovering which of us has the greater love for Breitling.

Personally I welcome the challenge - I wonder if the OP realises that he could be close to a nice pay day if he has the right watch!

Hmmmmm, I feel you may win the "Battle of the Wallets" at the moment Roff, if it ever did come down to it!

Yeah you're probably right! As I said above, I'm pretty sure the OP would've mentioned the nice shiny gold rotor if it was a CA Ratty.

CA69 gets my vote in this case.
