Hi to the Forum! I'm a newbie here, but participate in several forums, and find them all to be helpful in one way or another. I am the owner of a Chronospace, purchased in 1995. Unfortunately, the watch fell into disrepair causing the movement to fail. I was just wondering if Breitling still makes this movement, where I might get one and what it might cost. I'm tired of the thing just sitting in a jewelry box and would like to get it back on my wrist.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Terry

You should contact the Breitling service department nearest your location. If you are in the U.S. their phone number is 1-800-785-8832. They are open 9am to 3pm M-F. You can ship your watch to them and they will rebuild the mechanism. This can be quite pricey however. You can get more details by calling the service department directly. They have been very helpful for me in the past. Good luck!

Hi, CT! I'll give them a call tomorrow (I'm on the West Coast). I suspect they'll be "pricey," but it can't be any worse than the original cost of the watch, minus the bracelet. Guess it's time to bite the bullet...again, thanks for the tip. BTW--do they have an email address?

You can check the Brietling website at www.breitling.com. They list all of the service centers in the states. Note that a service center is different than an authorized dealer. There are very few service centers. The number I gave you is for the primary Breitling USA service center. They can answer all of your questions at that number. Good luck!
