I've read that the swinging action of golf may be a risk to an automatic watch but I'm guessing just about everything else is ok... running, weight training etc. etc???? I figure it's time to start getting myself out of bed early and winding myself and my watch! ![]() |

The problem is with sudden shock so other sports should be fine. Just consider the possibility of cosmetic damage bashing against training equipment etc. |

Considering that your moving the club head at a speed of roughly 100 MPH and then "shocking" your wrist upon making contact with the ball, I could see how long-term this could have a negative impact on the watch. Personally, I don't like something on my wrists when I'm golfing, so it's never been an issue for me, but I can see how it may affect the watch. Attachment: Breit Sig 2.jpg

Ive come to the conclusion that the golfing myth is just that...a myth. Ive been golfing many time with a B on and never had any problem. Ive even been to the driving range and hit 100+ balls in a row. No problem. A lot of us do it and nobody seems to have any issues. On a side note, ive recently stopped wearing any watch as I had started to find it to be annoying on my wrist. |

I also wear it everyday for work, it gets a good workout and has performed brilliantly. However, it does have quite a few dings. ![]() |
