So heres my question..... Can it hurt the watch to continuously run the Chronograph?

No it won't.

It causes marginally more wear, but nothing of any significance. It would be worse to never use the chrono and allow the oils to break down and then try to use it.

It will cause a reduction in the power reserve, but if the watch is a daily wearer or on a winder you'll never notice.
