So, you're about to go on vacation in the sunny South and you want to wear a watch while on vacation. Which watch do you choose and why?

I am leaving on a three-day "work-cruise" and I have been contemplating which watch to bring. My Bentley has been calling my name now that's it's polished up but then I think that the Super Avenger is the best option as it's so durable. The Rolex is another great workhorse-watch...

My choices are as follows:

Breitling Bentley Motors
Breitling Chrono-Matic 49
Breitling Super Avenger (currently with Ocean Racer strap)
Rolex Submariner
Tag Heuer Carerra

All of these watches are registered with Canada Customs so there will be no problems at the borders.

Usually my Chrono Avenger. Subtle, full featured, and waterproof to 300m.

Take the Tag. If something happens to it, who cares. It's a Tag.

It depends if you're going diving or not. If you are, take the Sub; it was made for such activities. If you wore that huge shiny SA in the water, some hungry shark could see it glittering half a mile away. It would come to investigate and, well...you'd like to go home with both arms intact, right?

Well if the shark bites down on the SA, its gonna loose some teeth

Depends if you think you need a dressy watch or a tool watch. Rolex would probably do both, but the SA with a rubber strap really pulls off the whole diver watch look, just not that dressy

Most importantly you want to come home with your Breitling on your arm rather than the shark's stomach... :boingb:

It all depends if you will be doing lots of activities.
If so the SUB would be the ideal watch (its only 40mm wide and 12mm thick  ; you wont even notice it on your wrist )

If you're going to chill out and take it easy, SA on OR all the way..
