Post subject:  Anyone here to identify this watch...?

Hello! I just registered to this forum to seek help with the identification of a specific Breitling model. It appears to be a Colt Quartz from the 90s but I never saw this bezel before except on military models with black PVD...

Does anyone know more about this watch?

Thanks!

You can't link eBay images directly to forums. If you save the image locally you can then attach it to your post (as long as it is under 250k) - or just post the link to the auction.

Oh, and welcome to BreitlingSource

It's real and the bezel is older type.

I think it's the same watch as the one in this thread:

(Don't let the title fool you. As it turned out, the watch is real.) :)

Thank you very much! This is the watch I meant...
Does anyone know the width between the lugs of this model?

Case closed...

The width of the bracelet on this one is 20mm, but the distance between the lugs is 18mm (ie the fitting is narrower than the strap).

Yes. this one is 18/16 and the newer ones are 20/18.
I'm sure that happy_chapie made a typo.

No it's correct, My professional bracelet is 20-18 but is smaller between the lugs at 18mm. just put a micrometer on it

:? So the bracelet tapers down from 20mm at the watchcase to 18mm at the clasp but has to be 18mm in width for the lugs?

Edit: I'm too confused now but has every 20mm bracelet a smaller size at the lugs, in this case 18mm?

Happy made it difficult. :P
Your watch tapers from 18 to 16 and the newer models from 20 to 18.
That's the all you need to know.

OK this is the last question :

Band needed is 18mm, clasp needed is 16m? Or if SS 18mm of course...

(but how then can the bracelet be 20mm?? - are there bracelets with 18mm that widen to 20mm directly and taper down to 18 again? That would be more adequate I think, because on this model the bezel is very heavy and would dominate a smaller band or bracelet too much...assumed it is possible to add a 20mm band...)
