Hey Guys,

I'm new here. Just recently purchased a Breitling Avenger M1 titanium.

Any way to distinguish between a fake? Seems like all the fakes are made of stainless steel. I haven't seen any yet made out of titanium.

I'd appreciate any input.

Regards,
John

There are Fake Titanium Breitlings... very good ones in fact. I am going to post an article on one soon as I get the time to write it. Post some pics of it in the replica identification forum and we'll let you know if it is :)

sounds good. I'll be getting it shortly.

This is the link to the auction on ebay where I got the watch:

Much appreciated!

The seller you bought from is very respectable... I know people who have bought from him before. I don't think you have to worry too much about it as the watch in the pictures is very much real.

That's good to know. Someone said if there's no papers, then good chance it's fake, so I was worried.

I'll post some pics when I get it.

Much appreciated!

Hey Guys,

I just got my Avenger M1. My camera isn't working, but I believe this is the ACTUAL watch that I just received.

I tried comparing to the the close-up at www.breitling.com and it looks identical. Just want to make sure.

Also, how do I shorten these links??? I got the screw out, but how do I remove the pin?

Thanks!
John

Congrats!

To shorten the bracelet, you need to unscrew 2 screws on each link.. there are no pins.. you pull on the opposite link. I am in the process of making a video that explains it on a pilot bracelet, which is the same way. I will link it shortly.

Edited to add: After reviewing the video, it looks like i went off the video screen when explaining it so i have to retake it haha.. You need to remove both screws... if you take a look at the pictures on the fighter bracelet page it kind of shows you:
