Hi, all. Just wanted to introduce myself as a new owner. I went to my local jeweler tonight with the intent of doing some Christmas shopping and maybe picking myself up one of the new Rolex GMT Master IIc's. OK - the trip was more for the latter, but I'll justify it anyway I want.

Turns out that I became the victim of a drive-by Breitling purchase. A brand new SS Chronomat with grey slate face and pilot bracelet. Saw the watch in the case and instantly fell in love the second it hit my wrist. It was one of those siren song moments we all know so well and I had to have it. The Rolex was impressive, but it was already quite similar to my Submariner in appearance (SS black dial w/date) and the Breitling was just so...

To top it all off, I saved $1,500 over the Rolex price! Merry Christmas to me! :D

Outstanding with the grey dial! The only thing I wish Breitling would change is the white background of the date numerals. The Blackbird date numerals are white on a black background, and I think personally it looks better when the background matches the dial. Only my opinion.
Enjoy the beautiful timepiece!
Cheers,
Carl
