How much do Authorized Dealers buy watches for? Or what percent off do they save directly through Breitling? For example: if I were to purchase a Super Avenger from an AD for (say) $5,000 USD(the asking price) how much profit do they make? I am basically looking to make an offer but I don't know where to start price-wise. I want to make an offer where obviously they are making money however, I would like to find that nice discount too! Thanks all! |

There are hundreds of threads on this that you can use the search function to find. It varies hugely by national market. |

10% to 15% is standard, 20% is very good and 25% is excellent. 30% + borders on the dealer getting busted... |

A lot, because if my memory serves me right, five grand would be above msrp. Coasterkid summed it up pretty well. Some dealers wont budge past 15% no matter how hard you try, and others have no problem doing it. Its up to your dealer and your negotiating skillz. |
