hi everyone, i m another new to breitling family! i got know Breitling from a replica about 4 years ago, and eventually got my black dial chrono avenger last Saturday at Vempe NY. I put my eye on chrono avenger since I know breitling. I worked hard day and night, when I eventually get my financial foundation strong enough to take it, Breitling already replace it by Skyland. I went to several retailers, they all told me the same story, which is I have no chance to find new chrono avenger any more. I tried Skyland, but I couln’t get the point. Why Breitling make the same watch in shiny steel indeed of calm titanium and charge $200 more? It's much heavier and lost its professional attitude, I think. I couldn’t give up my dream and kept searching in NYC, Time World has a white dial, but I really want black or grey, I went to Vempe. When I entered the alcove leads to the door, I didn’t expect anything other than a “we are sorry”. But, I see it, a black! I almost fell to the ground, my tears almost gushed out, everything paid off… The price is a huge fortune to me. But the avenger on my wrist reminds me the experience I have gained on the way to the Breitling ownership, reminds me my value I truly believed. |

Congrats on your purchase, glad you finally got the one you wanted. I keep hearing different stories about the Skyland replacing the CA but can’t really confirm…not sure where Vampe NY is but my local AD has a few black dial CA’s in stock last week…Short Hills NJ |

thanks louwal!  actually, i have relatives in Livingston. i got my 05 catalog from Short Hill mall. the representative i met there was a very nice lady. i was thinking if i couldn't find in the city, i will try there before end up with a Tag Heuer Link. I think there are two Vempes in NYC. I got CA at the 55th steet branch. decent retailer. no regret to do bussness with them.
