Post subject:  Opinions on the Avenger, successor to the Avenger Skyland?
Hi,

I was just wondering what you guys thought of the remodeled Skyland which is now called just Avenger?

For me, I like the metal stencil numbers, and really like the option of the silver dial which they didn't offer before.

Anyway, here are the four dial colors; Volcano black, Air Force blue, Tungsten gray and Stratus silver:

And this is the one I'm interested in, silver dial with the Diver Pro II strap:

How do you guys like this watch, has anyone seen the silver version in the flesh yet and can share some thoughts?

I havent seen it in person yet, but based on pics I like it more than my white numbered skyland.

I also ordered the silver dial with bracelet. I think the silver dial will be popular like the super avenger white dial.

its the same silver as the seawolf chrono i had and although its looks really nice i found it quite difficult to read the hands against the silver face,wether or not they could have put black hands i think would have been a better option,and to be perfectly honest that was one of the main reasons i sold it,i really struggled with it....

Sorry it didn't work out for you with your Seawolf Chrono, I like the hands and wouldn't want to have black ones on that particular watch, I think it looks really classy.

If anyone has the new Avenger, I would love to see some pics - closeups of the dial would be great :D . I'm debating whether it is worth the wait for my AD to order one.

I went to the AD two days ago and tried on the Black Dial version. Although it's a bit big for my wrists size, i liked the watch. The only thing i didn't like is the font they used for the numbers. But hey, that's for everyone to decide on their own.

Does anyone have the model ref # of the new Avenger. My AD is being a little lazy claiming that there is no new Avenger :x

AFAIK it's the same as the Skyland - it's just a name change - A13380.
