Hello,

Even though I got this at a good price it was definitely an impulse buy. With the free strap I thought ok nice watch but maybe I should have bought a Navitimer World instead (In fact I didn't even wear it at all-only for taking pics). After investing in a custom strap my decision has done a 180. I absolutely love it now. Thanks to Jeanna at http://www.stonecreekstraps.com I don't feel like I had made an impulsive decision-she's a true craftsman that does top notch work. Premium quality leather-nice thick, gloss black and beefy bund strap. I find the Chrono Matic just a touch small and genteel but with this strap from Stonecreek It feels more rugged and masculine.

Holy smoke that's a chunky strap! But I must say it really suits the Chronomatic! I like the way the red stitching picks up the red central seconds hand.

Funny thing Spartan, I had to wear another watch on my other hand for the first day to help outbecause I was also incorrectly told that the minutes was divided into half sections meaning that 1 full revolution=120 minutes just like the hours. Anything past the 24 meant I counted from 1. Just think this was what was told to me by the AD who sold the watch. For a few hours I was dividing the minutes adding this and taking away that. Oh that was funny and sad.

Thanks Driver

Shameful AD who told you that. It's easy to see with a bit of logic that it would be just stupid to have 120 minutes in one cycle (how would you ever compensate that with the hour hand?) - but if you're told so by your AD it's easier to trust them, you expect them to know what they're selling. Glad you figured it out.

Sad thing Aleister is that all 3 sales people didn't know (I had asked them all for confirmation) and it was the watch repair guy in the back who confirmed the 120 minutes for the minute hands. However shame on me for believing it. Good news is it only took me 1.5 hours to see the error

I think that's even worse. ADs salesmen should know this but ok, their internal training might have slipped (at least they confessed of not knowing and seems to have connected you with someone who claimed to know - that's how they should act if they don't know). But for their watch repair guy who even more relies on the watch mechanism for his income? If nothing else, you at least now know better than to trust him with any watch issue - send it directly to Breitling!
