| Post subject: | Possible 2 have Deployment on Breitling Pro Diver Strap???? |
Hey guys, i am getting ready to buy my first SA and i really like the Pro Diver Rubber Strap as opposed to the Ocean Racer. However, I will feel more at ease if I can somehow put a deployment clasp on the strap instead of using the the tang buckle it comes with. Is this possible at all to do, has anyone done it or seen some custom work done to make it happen? Thanks in advance |

I guess theoretically you could do it in that it only needs the one spring bar to attach, and that's on the same side as the tang. I think you will have problems getting the other end into the deployant though because the Diver Pro is pretty thick. I would definitely try it before spending the money. |

The rubber on the ocean racer is actually thicker than the rubber on the diver pro, so that may or may not be an issue. I can't believe no one on this board has done or attempted to do this. |

But the deployant for the OR is different than a regular deployant - and won't work with a Diver Pro. |
