Hi Everyone,

New to the forum and have a few questions.

Recently took a trip to the caribbean and picked up a Hercules with blue face, ref# A39363. Haven't been able to find too much on the model. Would it be a 550 or a 775? Got it at a certified Breitling dealer so I hope its not a fake. Anyone have one or have comments on it? I love it!

Going through this site I was able to date the watch to 2003. Since the watch is 4 yrs old but just bought, should I have some maintanence done on it or should I wait?

Glad this forum exists! Can't wait to add to the collection.

You might want to take it in for servicing in a year or two... if it's keeping perfect time right now there's no need yet I would say, but others may disagree :)

What do you mean by 550 or 775? I'm sure its not a fake if you bought it at an AD! I'm going to the carribean soon as well.. hopefully i can get me a new B there too!

My friend has a Hercules and I really like the Totalizers on it the bottom one looks a litle different. You may want to take it to a guy that does polishing and get it all polished out. It would look even better without the brushed look. Those Hercules models are great.

Admin,

You really knw how to paint an ugly picture. Let's just be glad that the Hercules is not really designed for a Croco band. Even though it's not polished, at least it's steel.
