Hey everyone, First post for me here a breitlingsource.com. First of all i'd like to thank everyone of this community. I've been reading a lot these last few weeks, and that helped a lot in making my decision. I started being interested about watches about a year ago. Like most people who don't know anything about watches, i didn't even know the difference between a quartz and an automatic watch. I was looking at watches in some random jeweller and settled my eyes on a Tag. It was the Calibre S, which i find looks amazing. Then i looked at the Carrera Automatic, and the guy explained to me the difference between a quartz and automatic watch. So that's how i got introduced. After talking to him, i had a revelation, i needed an automatic watch. Not having the money for a fine watch at that time (cashing for my wedding for about a year ...it's in 2 weeks ![]() I finally settled my heart on 2 models (Chrono Cockpit and Chrono Super Ocean, both black dials). I finally went two the only two AD's in my area and tried them on. I have to say i got a small wrist (6 3/4). Even with that small wrist, i found the Chrono Cockpit way too small. Then i tried the CSO... WHAT!!! Why didn't i read anywhere before i went to the shop that when you wear THE watch that is made for you, you catch a crazy unidentified disease that won't cure until you buy!!!! Now since i'm getting married in two weeks, i have to wait about 2 or 3 months to go get it...so i wanted to talk to people who will understand how i feel. By the way, one of the two AD's ( La Swiss) was only giving me 15% on the MSRP. The other one gives me a bit more than 25%. The price ends up lower than on the grey market for me !!! ( Since i live in canada and the exchange rate is about 10% and i have a customs duty of 6% on watch importation..) Anyways, i'll post pictures when i get my watch. THANKS to everyone here. HuttFuzz. |

Congratulations on the wedding and on catching Breitlingitis ![]() It'll be a long 2 - 3 months, but worth it. If you are looking at La Swiss then I'm guessing that you are in Canada - PM me and I may be able to help you out with a contact at La Swiss that can beat 25%. |

I also have a question. I saw many posts over the forums claiming that CSO is not 15.1mm but rather 17mm. Thoughts anyone? |

Depending on how you measure a watch you can get different variations - i.e. if you include the crown, or push-pieces, etc - but official measurements from Breitling (and all other manufacturers unless they specifically state) always excludes the crown/pushpieces. |

I know how you feel. I just bought a SO blue face 3 weeks ago and I am already looking to save and buy a Steelfish black face. It is a expensive disease to have but it is so much fun to get the cure!!! Congrats on your wedding! Tell your wife it would be a great wedding gift for you!!! ![]() |

Simply explain to your lovely about-to-be that you are just looking for something that attempts to mimic her beauty so that you may gaze upon it longingly when she is not around! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
