Hey guys, just curious. So many members have the navi world but no one has the montbrilliant legende? Is it the integrated bracelet or 47 mm is 1 mm too big. LOL . Just curious.

Hi

The Legende is a big bit 'o steel, but enormously wearable too,

It looks good wearing a suit, or a T' shirt and jeans. I tend to wear mine while doing stuff that won't. hopefully, connect it with water or sharp pointy things.

It is a beautifully crafted watch, pretty to look at and easy to read the time on.

I agree 47mm is big, but it wears smaller, due to the layout of the dial and the narrow bezel.

It's one of the Breitling greats in my opinion.

Davey

In many ways I prefer the look of the Legende over the world, but the integrated 'forced' bracelet might be a letdown for some.

As you can see, there are a few Monty Legendes on here. It's just down to personal choice why more seem to go for the World.

My personal reasons for why I bought a World over a Legende are as follows -

1. I've always disliked the gold hands with the steel hour markers on the SS version. IMO they should all be one or the other.

2. I prefer the Navitimer style of hands over the more dressy Monty style.

3. I prefer the non-integrated bracelet of the World.

4. I prefer the Navitimer wings logo on the dial compared to the Monty "B".

I considered getting a Legende as well for quite a long time, but these points were enough to dissuade me. All personal reasons of course, and I'm sure that plenty of Legende owners will say that all the negative points I've put above were actually postives to them! All just personal choices.

As a number of folks (including myself) stated in the thread that Spartan pointed out, it's the hands on the ML that were deciding factor for me. For me personally, the gold hands dressed the watch up just a little bit too much for the type of watch that I was looking for.

It's too bad, because I love the watch. If I had a LOT more expendable cash, I would absolutely own one for those times that I would want to wear something a little dressier.

The differences I see between the two watches are:
1) Hands - both sub and main.
2) "B" on Chrono hand
3) Batons
4) Date wheel color
5) Wings instead of "B"
6) Crispness of lettering
7) Size of date font window
8.) date font
9) Subdial (3:00)
10 Hand color
11) Lume intensity

The 3oclock sub is wrong... Should have the 30 instead of the 60

See #9.
We probably need to get back to the OP.
