HI!

I just purchased my new Blackbird and it is gorgeous. However, I got the new Breitling box and every other paper that comes with it but is it supposed to come with extra links for the bracelet? It also wasn't 'stamped' on the warranty card but it is performated with the AD's name and country on the opposite side. The warranty card does state that it has to be 'stamped' and signed so I'll have to get the AD to do this.

If I did not 'catch' this oversight would I have run into problems in the future if the card was NOT stamped and signed even though I have an official invoice from the AD.

Thanks, Charles

When you purchase a new watch, all links are attached to the bracelet.
AD probably forgot to stamp warranty.

The warranty card issue could be beneficial, if its not dated then maybe you've just got yourself a longer warranty

If your bracelet was shortened then make sure you get the spare links as the Blackbird bracelet is worth £1000 and spare links would be hideously expensive

Some ADs have deliberately been leaving papers 'open' for the reason that MartC describes - if you have a problem 2 1/2 years after purchase they just put a later purchase date in and get the watch fixed under warranty.

Breitling have recently been clamping down on that though, but more likely a problem for the AD than the purchaser.

Thanks Everyone!

Does anyone know how many links a FULL pilot's (Blackbird) bracelet comes with? Mine came with 12 links (6 on each side)and just fits properly.

Thanks for all your help!
Charles

Each side should have the end links (that fit tight to the case) followed by three permanent links and then three removable links.
