I just got a quote from my AD for a complete overhaul for my Bentley Lemans.

595Can$ + 110Can$ (to replace the bezel; optional...I said YES  )

Seems like a fair price to me.... What do you guys think?

I cant remember how much Driver had paid for his :huh ( I believe it was done last year)

You have probably already checked out what Breitling does during their complete overhaul. Check out the videos and I think you will appreciate what you are paying for. Make sure you select the correct language in the upper right corner of the screen.

I can't remember what I paid now - it'll be on here somewhere - but around the £450GBP mark seems to ring a bell. I'd say your price was about right Spartan. Mine was in great condition anyway when I sent it in for it's service, but it certainly came back looking brand new. You should expect the same.

Million dollar question: When it comes back all shiny and new, do I dare wear it on a daily basis? 8)

Seems like a complete overhaul is more expensive in the UK :(

I guess it doesn't really matter what condition its in; they have a fixed fee.... :(

Service is fixed fee, but there will be variations based on any additional parts that need replacing.

Roff,
A couple of months ago, it used to be 550$ for any Chrono Breitling....Now they quoted me 595$... :!:

Either they raised the fee or they charge a bit more because the watch is from the Bentley series :?

Prices of the watches keep going up in this booming economy, does it really surprise you that the service fees would also go up?

Yeah, but figure once you get to $550, what's the difference between that and $595... Every four years or so, that's tolerable, especially when you see the results.

Wow. That's amazing. If you live in the US, do they do the servicing here in the country or ship it off?

Also, will they give you a new dial if you request it?

Except for the Emergency / Emergency Mission (which have to go to Europe because Dassault have to service the transmitter) they will be done by BUSA in CT.

You can get a replacement dial if you request it, but it's expensive.

Thanks for those links Bere! That was really cool, plus it helps justify the $600 that it costs.
