Hi Guys...I know that the Bentley line is Breiltling's most expensive. However, they don't seem to be mentioned all that much on the forum...is that because they are so pricey people tend to stick with other models (not that the others come "cheap" haha) or is it because people prefer the look of others better? Just curious.

A lot more people here own non Bentley watches so it's natural the discussions revolve around those watches.

If you've a question or opinion on a Bentley watch, start up a thread and I'm sure there will be interest amongst the cognoscenti!

Hey Sharkmouth, thanks for the reply! That was basically my question, more people seem to own and hence discuss the non-Bentley models. Just wondering why that is (do people prefer the other lines? is their another forum deticated to Bentley's), I personally am not in love with the bentley line...a bit too flashy for me...especially with the diamond cut bezel.

I love MY Bentley....would never trade/sell it

...and I don't find it very flashy....a bit big, yes but not necessarily flashy....

I think my Chronomat TT is much flashier than my Bentley..... :huh

No idea what the stats are but say there's 50 non Bentleys to every Bentley sold, that's why you don't see that many discussions on the Bentley.

There's a couple of ADs on here who may, if they are permitted by Breitling, give a clue as to the ratio. Which must vary significantly area by area - Dubai and Vegas vs (insert name of your country's back water!)

I imagine most people on here admire the Bentley range but for either aesthetic or budgetary reasons prefer the non Bentley models.

And not to mention that the ratio of Breitling/Bentley dealers to Breitling only dealers is dramatic. There simply isn't the exposure of the Bentley line anywhere near that of Breitling.
An example ; in my small state we have two Breitling dealers and neither of them sell the Bentley line.

Good point! My local AD does not stock Bentleys.

There are quite a few Bentley owners around here, though the vast majority are Motors / Motors T / 6.75s. Far fewer of the other models, probably because of the size (and cost I guess, even for Bentleys, with the exception of the GT).

The Flying B and the Mark VI series have been horrendously bad sellers for Breitling.

I always liked the look of some of the Bentley line but never got too familiar with them. What model is that?
