Hi all, I am toying with the idea of trying an SA... even though my common sense says it will be too big. Which dial colour do you think wears smaller or looks less imposing on the wrist, black dial or white dial?

Wrist shots welcome.

Thanks

Mark,

That's a simple answer buddy....The white dial ALWAYS " wears" bigger....
A nice deep tan will make it "wear" even more blingy as well

Yeah the white looks huge. When i bought my BFB i tried on the SA for shits and giggles and that's just what i did when i put it on my 7 inch arm...lol, it looked cartoonish on me.

I too agree that the white dial comes across bigger but man...put a nice tan strap on that and you have a beautiful combination.

Don't understand the physics but black watches always look smaller than white.

I bet the white SA significantly outsells the black

As it's been said, white looks bigger. I went blue w/ silver subs because it apeared a little smaller. Don't get me wrong, the watch still has a huge wrist presence. I like how the silver subs catches your eye.

:yeahthat what everyone else has said - black wears smaller than white. (And I've got a black one now, but used to have a white one as well)

Black anything will generally look smaller than white anything due to reflecting less light. That's why black is always considered a slimming color in the fashion world. Granted, the material has an impact in addition to the color (matte white will reflect less than polished/lacquered black) but if the material is the same then lighter colors will always be more noticeable than darker.
