Hello, New to Breitling and fine watches here. Exploring the Chronomat Evolution 447 as a starter. Was quoted "from $4700 CAD on a leather strap to $5840 CAD on a steel Pilot bracelet" by an Time & Gold, an authorized dealer in Vancouver. Was a bit confused because the standard Chrono sells for $3700 USD ($4033 CAD) on Amazon.com. What is my leverage for dealing with retail stores? A friend tells me to go online but I'm skeptical of using eBay given the huge market for remarkable replicas. Desmond |

The msrp numbers are correct. As I said in your introductory thread, I can introduce you to a Canadian AD who will give you a good deal. Also bear in mind that buying from the US will cause you to pay two sales taxes plus import duty (5% from memory) and handling fees. The AD that I can introduce you to will be out of Province for you so would only cost you the GST. PM me when you are ready to buy and I'll provide details. |

Thank you, I will gladly take you up on your offer to help source one and will ping you down the road. Appreciate it. I guess the numbers quoted are correct but I swear my friend said he paid $3400 CAD for the white on blue dial with numbers. I will double check. I'm interested in the standard/cheapest steel bracelet model with the sticks/batons, and haven't ruled out previously owned. |

Don't forget that msrp is before discount. $3,400 for leather is entirely possible, but stretching it for bracelet. |

I can vouch for Roff's contact. Still doing business there myself. |

I live in the lower Mainland, and recently shopped at Time and Gold for a Super Avenger. When I asked about pricing 20% discount was offered without hesitation. That's $1000 off plus tax came to $4600. I plan to purchase from them in the near future. Follow Roff's advice re online purchases. Besides part of the experience is going to the store and trying on the watches. Plus you know your getting the real thing with all the papers. jca Cloverdale BC |

Yeah 20% isn't that great in Canada. I got a very good discount from Roff's connection even as a first time buyer. Let us know how it works out |
