I haven't had the chance to take my own pictures but decided to post the ones from EBAY (great seller, out of Florida)..
Main reason: my watch is at my local AD for a complete overhaul (my local AD will even polish the bracelet  ).

The watch is a 2004 model (never serviced) and just cant go anywhere near the 42H reserve :D

Cant wait to get it back!!! I really like this watch...Notice the black date font color

Is your watch for sale again? Check out this Ebay auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/BREILITNG-BENTLEY-L ... 286.c0.m14

I even contacted the seller by phone and he confirmed that it is available. I asked him what the LE # was and he replied that "he didn't know the exact # because the watch was not in front of him". Kinda weird 'cuz you can kinda make out the "281/100" in one of those pics.

The Speed 8, 24 hr LeMans is such a very fine watch.
If you ever want to trade it for a black dial 6.75 let me know.

I will look into it... Maybe he is using the same pics? Last I checked my watch was at the Breitling center in Toronto for a complete overhaul (595$ + 110$ for a new bezel)

Thanks for finding this info

That's what I thought that yours was in for a service, that's why I asked the seller for the LE#. Is this even the same person that you purchased from?

The dealer's name is George Anday out of Florida; very fine individual. I had a great buying experience and the watch was exactly as advertised (look at the pics),
complete with box and papers (papers were from a UK AD).

I emailed George. Maybe he has another one for sale?

Something odd is going on at ebay(maybe). A couple months ago, I watched this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWAX:IT

Now, this just got listed:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... SS:US:1123

Same watch. I guess it is possible that this one came back and they are reselling it. Or is something else going on?

I asked the seller about the previous sale and the use of the old pictures.

He replied as follows:
Seller wrote:
Hi

I did sell the LaMans I had to a gentleman in Canada. I have not yet received this watch and I am using the pictures from the prior one since they should be identical. Please do not bid or make an offer on it until I tell you it has been received. I may actually have to remove the listing because the shipment is getting delayed further than anticipated.

Thank you

George

There's nothing like a newly overhauled LeMans. :) I put my bronze/copper one in the Japanese Service hands and back came a beauty, included a bracelet polish.

I don't quite get his reply. If he doesn't have it yet then why even list it? I'm not trying to pass judgment on this guy, just trying to help clear things out just in case someone in the forum was interested in it.
