So I have a story... I sign up for the corps, (marine corps) and I get a shipping date, tell my girlfriend.... few weeks later propose to her, about a week later we break it off.

I was sad

A week later I trade the ring in for a Colt Chronometre (yeah, the ring was just under the colt)
well.... I got me my first Breitling!!
:lingsrock:

But on the other note, it was sitting in the case for 2 years (Im a jeweler so I have to ask questions us jewelers think to say) does anyone know when I sould send it in for a battery? (grrrr I hate quartz lol)

You may be lucky and get another 5 years out of the original battery. Claimed battery life is around 8 years for the Colt Amazingly long.

So is it on a strap or bracelet?

Oh, welcome to the site :)

Sounds like you made out alright...it could have all gone wrong. When it stops, you need a battery.

I asked for a leather strap (black) to match the face.
But after she sold it she said "no you bought it witht the metal bracelet" She told me it lasts 8yrs but the mov't here says 2-3, thats just an average battery... so Im hoping for eight!

Oh and if it stops I need Mr.T to yell at it....not a new battery

You can always get another girl. You can also get another B! Sounds like the story had a happy ending.
