Just got a Breitling Blackbird (NEW Model) Its been back in the shop now for 3 months! I think it might be due to this "Don't change the date between 8pm-3am" thing, not quite sure does anyone know anything about this and the damage it can cause? My Date still changed daily, however it will free spin if I were to try to change it manually! I'm pretty mad I only had the watch for a few months and I feel as though it has been in the shop longer than it has been on my wrist! Thanks Everyone! |

Yes it can cause damage by using the Quickset date between 8pm and 3am. It's all in the manual, although if you are new to automatic watches it's fairly easy to forget. There's been a million threads about this, but here's a few links to get you started - viewtopic.php?f=12&t=9782&p=79324&hilit=date+setting#p79324 viewtopic.php?f=12&t=9556&hilit=date+setting viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5599&hilit=date+setting |

Not correct: For moving dates, it is true, but for jumping Dates, like the Chronomat B01 it is incorrect. You can change the date with the quickset function at any time in that watch. BG Alien |
