I have a Blackbird with both the pilot and black leather strap. I think I'm going to buy a Steelfish and assume I can mix and match these bracelets between both watches? I don't care much for the Steel Fish Pro bracelet looking at pics.... but of course will leave final judgement to seeing it in person. I figure I'm good to go with this idea but better double check. Thanks! PS... Any thoughts on how the pilot (brushed) will look on a Steelfish? |

I'm not an expert but from what I've picked up reading this forum there isn't a lot of mixing and matching in bracelets and watches. Just because the lug size is the same doesn't mean the spring bars will match the holes on the watch. You may want to check with an AD to see if that BB bracelet will fit or not. Carlos |

It's not the springbars, it's the end links. I don't think that there are any pilot end links that would fit the Steelfish. |

Thanks! I knew it was a good idea to ask. Not really an issue having decided the pilot is best left on the Blackbird and I'll stick the black leather on the fish. Since I started looking at breitlings I wanted one on leather and to confess I had a wonderful idea of buying the watch on the bracelet, changing to leather, and flipping the bracelet... essentially giving myself an additional discount on my fairly decent price to begin with. I felt like the smartest kid on the block up to the day the watch arrived and I realized how nice the bracelet really was. I know I could change em (pilot & leather) back and forth but would rather just have two watches, a great excuse for my second breitling. The moral of the story is if you think you can buy something by Breitling and be dis-satisfied, you better think again. ![]() |
