That also includes all other watches. You can only own one watch and it has to be a Breitling. For me this is actually not that tough of a question, the Chronomat Evolution on SS bracelet in a blue dial. |

I'm an awkward bugger at the best of times, and heaven knows I usually go out of my way to be 'different' (ask my girlfriend) but I have to agree with you there...did I really say that?? I purchased my Chronomat Evo on a blue croco strap - then changed to a bracelet (PLEASE don't tell acceldebt...my reputation here is already in tatters) top left in photo below ![]() The Chronomat was my first Breitling, purchased last December in London - EVERYTHING in the signature (apart from the Rolex Sub which I bought in 1978!!) has been since then... |

Sportback, that is a truly wonderful watch year you've had! I envy you! And, to answer Altair's question... If I only may have one watch, I believe it would have to be (after some serious thinking) something like the Navitimer Montbrillant Edition. The reason why is that I want a chronograph, I want something that could go on a regular weekday and with a suit, a nice, classy "easy-to-read" dial... I think the Edition meets most of the demands without have to compromise too much. |

That is a very tough question.. although my Bigger Lings are my favourite, If I only had one, I think i would also have to go with my Chronomat Evolution, blue dial, diamond bezel. It goes well with a suit and it goes well sporty... never have to worry about it not fitting under a cuff either |

That's an easy question for me too, it would be a Rose Gold Mulliner Perpetual. |

I would have to go with the SS Bentley GT with a green dial. I love that one. That will be the Ling I get after the Olympus. I want to have a Navitimer next. Y the only one? Well it has the Caliber 13B movement which I love. It has the day/date aperture and it's the only Bentley I would wear (I'm not a fan of anything bigger than 45mm). Lastly, it's a Bentley, if your going to have a Ling and only one, y not a Bentley right? If I had to keep one of the 3 i have I'd stick with the Chronomat Evolution. I'm seriously as in love with this watch as my gf (is that wrong? I don't think so!), and I know this relationship isn't doomed to end! (with the watch that is). |

Cosmonaute on SS bracelet.... which I bought this year. Wish it had an exhibition back though, then it'd be perfect! |

The Blackbird. I think it is the most well-proportioned of any of the Breitlings. I love the large date display at 12 o'clock, and how it has the black background that blends in with the dial. The 3 subdials are well-placed around the main dial, and the huge hands are very easy to read. It is quite understated all around, and not overly large but it still has a presence that is unmistakably Breitling. I also like the fact that it has it's unique version of the pilot bracelt, and also that the bracelet is very wide. This is one watch that I feel one could wear on any occasion, although any Breitling to me is an all-occasion timepiece. I was going to get the Cockpit, with the grey dial. What put me off was the large date on such a small dial, with the white background is just too much of a contrast for me. I unfortunately cannot afford more than one watch at that price, so I am putting off my purchase till I decide on the right one. The other watch I have my eyes on is the new Omega De Ville Hour Vision. However, here in Canada the base price for the stainless with stainless bracelet is $8100.00. The Blackbird is $6600.00, and I can trade in my ten-year-old SuperOcean and get about 30% off the price. So for me the Blackbird is the best value. Cheers, Carl |
