Hey guys, I've been doing my research and find that you obviously can get good-great discounts on Breitling watches. I've been to a few local AD's and they seem to be willing to do 20% without a blink of an eye. Therefore, 20% seems pretty standard to me. So, what's a good, or even "GREAT" discount? I know this is subject to your location, and I'm located in the VA/DC/MD area. I've heard of people getting near 40% off Breitlings in some areas...is this possible? If so, what are the conditions...possibly holiday season, bad economy, end of fiscal year for the company, or just plain strong bargaining abilities? Either way, I love the Chronomat (Evolution) and I'd love to get my hands on one from an AD with deep discounts. Can anyone suggest how I can do so? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW, my wife is going to contact a few AD's that have been suggested to me on this forum, I just want to make sure she's doing the right things, saying the right words, and getting the right deals... |

I think 25% or more is a great discount. Most ADs will do 20% off since they say that's the limit that BUSA allows. |

BUSA is starting to crack down a little more now, but a US AD won't have problems until they go over 30%. In other parts of the world things can be rather different - we all know that discounts in Europe aren't great. There are also exceptions for some models - the Flying B being an obvious example which is not selling. |

Just purchased a SA Black steel from an AD recommended to me from this forum, and he offered a 25% discount. |

depends on the watch, if its limited edition, or brand new, all bets are off, but the rest of the line, 30 is good, 35 is fantastic. 25 bare minimum, but i wont take less than 30 |

I'm not looking to get a limited edition, or new model watch. I do like the B01, but the Chronomat is screaming my name. I'm looking to see what's the best price I can get on a Chronomat. I'd love for my wife to get 30% off, and I think she's working on that as we speak. If anyone knows where I can get this type of deal from an AD, would you mind pming me? |

Man, I had to beat up my AD to get him up to 20% off. It was like I wanted to take his oldest child away from him or something, and then he had to call his district manager for an OK. Now I'm definitely going to have to shop around better next time. Michael |

It's funny because the first place I went said 20% off the bat. The second place made any discount seem impossible. When I said "ok, thanks, I'll go back to the other place"...they were suddenly able to get me a discount. This was AFTER the "distrcit manager" had told him he couldn't give me a discount. |
