Hi All, Would appreciate some help... I've just took delivery of a new watch (Navitimer Fighter A13330). After taking it out of the box, winding it and setting the time, I notice that the second hand doesnt move but the watch keeps time and is ticking. After pressing the top plunger the the small hand on the dial that is ajacent to the number 9 (labelled 10 -60) is continually going round and even pressing the lower plunger doesnt stop it? With it being new, I'm not sure whether it is faulty, or if I need to set it up someway (Checked the manual but it doesnt suggest anything that I havent already tried)? Thanks in advance Peter |

Hello Peter, When you say you've got a new one, do you mean for you or factory new? I might have missed something, but I believe the model was last produced 2004. Of course, I could be dead wrong or it could have been resting at an AD for a while. Are you sure that the subdial (at 9 o'clock, 0-60) doesn't move all the time? It should do that. I don't have a Navi myself, but generally chronographs work so that when you press the top button the first time, the large seconds hand start moving. When you press the top button a second time, it stops. By pressing the bottom button it resets back to starting position, and you can't reset it without pushing the top button first. When the seconds hand have completed its first minute, the chronograph minute dial (subdial at 12 o'clock) starts registering, and after 30 minutes the hour dial (subdial at 6 o'clock) start registering. If your chronograph doesn't work this way, then take it back to your AD or seller and ask them to fix it. |

Thanks for the quick reply! Well...now I feel a bit stupid! The watch is working just fine. It was just that I wasnt pressing the top plunger hard enought (Doh!) 
(by the way..I know that this watch hasnt been produced for a while, I've been searching for one of these as I like the contrast on the dial. Its new in the box, from an AD in the states) Thanks again for your help Rgs Peter |
