Post subject:  When the rubber hits the metal

Hello, everyone

I just got my beloved CSO set up with an Ocean Racer strap. It look goooood :D
It wears very comfortably since the friction from the rubber lets you have a slightly "looser" fit. So it's snug as a bug, but not tight. Very nice. And of course the deployant is super-cool.

I'll post some pics if I can get my !$¤%@ camera working...

Anybody else have this combo?

Looks amazing!

I want one for mine as well!

Could you supply a couple of wristshots as well? From a little disctance, so that one can see how it looks on the arm, not only around the wrist?

I would be very thankful!

I recently put my CSO on the same set up (decided to give the braclet a break) and I have to agree that it is awesome.
Some of my shots...

How’s your rubber strap feel in hot weather? I’ve been tempted to try one but my concern is a rubber strap not being able to breathe and sweat building up. Any problems with smell?

My experience so far is that it works very well. The strap is rigid enough not to hug your skin very closely, and it has the big holes along the side. The inside of the strap is also textured so that provides some air as well. It's a lot less sweaty than your typical metal bracelet, anyway.

As for smell and build-up of sweat I can't really comment since I heven't used it long enough for it to get really funky.

But if you can wear a bracelet in hot weather, you can certainly wear the OR strap.

I am rocking the OR as well. By far the most comfortable band/strap I have ever used. The deployment clasp is the shizat. I only had a smell issue when it was brand new. Once the rubber was broken in it went away.
