I have heard that many people dislike the ocean classic bracelet for the SOH and someone at an AD told me they will be coming out with a new steel bracelet for that watch. Is there any truth to this?

Thanks Guys

Is the Ocean classic the mesh?? It would be mistake if they discontinued it. While it may not be everyones cup'o'tea, it is a spectacularly comfortable bracelet, and IMHO it makes the watch. They should continue to offer it as an option.

I can't see them discontinuing it - after all they just introduced the aero classic version as well.

It's possible that the metal aero racer might have a variant, though that seems odd from a naming convention standpoint (ocean classic and aero classic are the aeromarine and navitimer versions of the mesh respectively, so wouldn't ocean racer and aero racer be the aeromarine and navitimer versions of straps / bracelets with holes?).

I agree with Mark, they should keep it. Not everyone likes it (I don't) but it is appropriate for a model named Heritage, and it does suit the watch very well.
