My Authorized LING dealer took 3 weeks to get in my Bentley GT Blue Face, Silver Sub Dials. He called me today to say he has the watch in but not the Warranty Info along with official paperwork. He said he usually waits until he gets that paperwork before calling customers but since I was waiting so long he wanted to see if I wanted to get it fit. He thought he would get a copy of the paperwork in tommorrow or the next day. I called Breitling USA and said such story and they immediately passed me off to the Supervisor. This person told me they absolutely do not ship watches without that paperwork and immediately wanted to know who the dealer was. I refuse to tell them until I confronted the dealer. Well I confronted the dealer and he said that is not true. He called his rep who got on the phone and said they would get a new copy of the paperwork out to me tomorrow. I said that wasn't the point. Point is something s fishy about getting the watch without the paperwork. Anyway, looking for advice on what I should do. Has anyone had a similiar experience? I am now waiting for the supervisor to call me back. She was on the phone when I called. I dealer is right next to my work so when I left I believe he immediately called Breitling USA(Supervisor) What do you guys think? Am I being ridiculous? When I told the supervisor I was disappointed in this experience she said "You should be". |

Sounds fishy. If it were me I would go to another AD and cut ties with this one. |

In my experience everything is always shipped together. When big shipments arrive at my AD they are usually shipped with the watches in a big polystyrene tray to protect them, but the papers are always part of it, and I would think that with individual watches it would just be the box set that gets shipped. |

Was the watch being shipped from another store or from Breitling directly? Just wait til the papers come in and see if the are legit. |

Supposedly from Breitling USA. He said the paperwork would be in tomorrow. The Supervisor still has not called me back. I am on the phone with the AD now. I will fill in shortly. |

Ok. Bottom line is Breitling USA is going to ship another watch overnight to AD and I can choose between the 2. AD gave me the serial number of the watch without the paperwork. For me this whole thing stems from the fact that Breitling USA said they never ship without the paperwork. When they say that to me and the AD says he doesn't have the paperwork...something seems fishy. So I will be picking up my new Bentley GT tomorrow. What an experience..... |

Ask to have the Breitling rep meet you at the AD when you pick up the papers. This will ensure you that the watch and paperwork is legit, and will likely yeild you some goodies as they should be very willing to make you happy at this point. |

I may have missed it--did you end up telling the dealer name to Breitling USA after all? I think you should--this is a kind of quality control they need to know about to ensure standardized quality across their people. |

Oh after i told the AD who i spoke with he called them as soon as I left. They know who it is. I also spoke with the regional rep from Breitling. It all seems a little shady but Breitling USA is overnight him another watch and I am picking that up tomorrow. |

If the watch came from BUSA it comes with the correct paper work. If the Rep had a watch drop shipped from another store to your AD, the correct paper work would be issued separately from BUSA. |

![]() I figure if the AD got it from another dealer, they would need a new warranty booklet with the new dealers name on it. Im not sure if thats how it works though... |
