Which do you like best, the black or blue rubber strap? Please excuse the poor quality pics, outdoor natural light versus office fluorescent washed out light. Yes, it is the same watch.

And outside the poll, is there a difference in the color of the blue on the Pro Diver versus the Ocean Racer?

Even if the blue is slightly different, it still picks up the blue on the dial. I had a black dial Steelfish, and the black OR looked great on it. The OR is now on my Seawolf, and accentuates the black dial beautifully. I am sure the blue OR would do the same for your Steelfish. Blue is a lot less common than silver or black, so I think you would do well to bring out the blue highlights as much as possible. There have also been a couple of posts on this forum, with the blue dial SA and blue OR strap, which also look great. Personally, I don't think the black OR would work with the blue dial.
Try this link to the Japan Breitling website, and you can try out the combo in the "Fitting" section:

As far as the blue on the Diver Pro goes, I can't say if it is different than the OR or not.
Cheers,
Carl

IMO a rubber strap needs to be black. Coloured rubber straps have a cheaper look about them. Just reminds me of Swatches and similar cheap stuff

I think breitling should make some all white straps. Even some white croc leather straps. I know a company that makes custom straps from all types of leathers. Ill be posting a link when i get home from work.

I went for the black OR for my Blue SOS. It does make the dail look darker from a distance. I also have tried the Blue Diver Pro and have considered the blue OR. I have come to the conclusion that I like the way the brushed SS Pro II looks the best, go figure. I also have a yellow Seawolf. I have it on the black OR that is sized for the fish. IMO, go with what you like. I also think that the OR is tricky because its adjustments are not reversable. The good side of this is you have a great watch and many choices!!
