Hello Everyone,

I am the type to fall with modern sophisticated designs with elegance add just a touch of bling.

I noticed that no websites had in hand images so it was my duty as a breitling fan to take pics and show everyone what a stunner the new B01 is.

Click here for in hand images: http://www.golftoimpress.com

Sorry for linking out Admin if thats a problem here.

The wonky, chopped up roman numerals look an absolute mess. Battons look far cleaner.

So far really not a fan of this watch, it just doesn't have a very 'Breitling' look about it

I just can't find the love for this watch, I think it is the bezel font that kills it for me. I do appreciate the effort Breitling made with this watch, I just don't think it will ever visit my collection.

Makes me want a Chrono Evo even more now...

The dial with the batons looks OK, but the 80's computer style font on the bezel ruins the whole thing for me. I'd save some money and buy another Skyland long before I bought a B01.

I'm not jumping on the original poster; thanks, by the way for sharing and welcome. I just really dislike the watch.

First I thought Breitling was trying too hard with the B01. Didn´t like it. I slowly warmed to it, but felt it looked only ok. Then I saw it and got to try three different ones on. Loved it and now would really like to own one.

The font looks very cheap to me...don´t like it. And look! Not even the Bezel is aligned! Big no no for a Brand like this!

I went back after later (recently) and looked at it again.... nope, still hate it. I want to like it and frankly the bezel numbering is the only thing I dont like. A normal looking bezel with batons and I would have already ordered one.

Really was looking forward to seeing what the BO1 would look like.

I watched several videos and media presentations on the website breitling.com.

I am somewhat disapointed in the design. I don't know if silver subdials are an option, with guiochet patterns.

forgive me if i spelled guiollet wrong!

The placement of the subdials is ok, but I personally like the chrono evo with the writing to the side and the breitling logo to the side.

Also no "automatic in script" I like that on the Chrono Evo.

The numbers on the bezel , could probably have not been essential.

Now, for the interesting part. 70 hour power reserve, in house movement, its great for Breitling..but something about the fuselage as they say is not appealing..also i believe its smaller in diameter by 1.5 millimeter when compared to a chrono Evo...

Do we know if pushers can be activated underwater? Or is it still exclusive to the Aeromarine M1 Avenger and Avenger Seawolf?

Furthermore, does anyone find it strange that breitling released a b01 with in house movement, but released a 125th anniversaire with a modified non in house movement?

could they be diversifying or circumventing early kinks on a highly notable watch ?
For b1 Nice choice on the bracelet.....now for my rant on the 125th anniversaire...............
as always I am open to corrections..comments...just my 2 cents as the saying goes

thanks for posting a link

I suppose it's a wonderful movement, and overall the watch looks great! However, I am extremely fussy when it comes to date displays. Firstly, I wish most watches just wouldn't have them at all. Secondly, if they do, must be either at 3 o'clock or 12 o'clock if big date. I would never buy a watch that has the date between 4 and 5. Don't ask me why, because some very beautiful timepieces of all makes have the date that way.
Cheers,
Carl

I like the batons more, except the bezel and a pearl which looks like ones on some poor Asian reps.

They wouldn't be a screw on if that's an option.

I'm with you 100%, Carl. That ruins a lot of watches for me. If the date must be in another position, it should at least be upright (like on the BR-03, or the Zenith Grande Date for example).

I am with Carl on the date thing, also I agree with his idea that the background on the date should be the same as the dial, the watch is growing on me though!
One thing though about the link, I am definately in Mark Twains camp when it comes to Golf..A good walk ruined
