So i went to a local store that sells breitlings to get the noise in my watch checked out, she said its def something loose. and then she told me they will not service my watch because im a "2nd" owner of the watch. she went on to tell me that i should never buy a breitling used becuase they are not meant to be sold used, so basically she said once you buy one your never supposed to sell it. your supposed to hand it down in ur family. the lady really pissed me off today. she was talking down to me because i bought a used watch. she said its like buying from a pawn shop.

Why didn't you say, "Well I don't see you with a Breitling on your wrist." So don't talk down to me if you don't even have a Ling yourself. Besides that's bullshit, regardless if you are the 2nd owner, if they service your watch that is business for them since you would have to pay for the service to take place. Not good business practice if you ask me. If she treats you with respect, who knows perhaps you will go back to the very same story to purchase a Brand New Ling from her store.

That's horrible to hear how you were treated. I only have my SA that I bought new so I have not had any experiences with a used watch. What I can say though is, in Kansas city there are only two AD's. I purchased my watch and did not even know there was another at that time. I am now doing business with the one I did not purchase from and they treat me as if I had purchased 20 B's from them! I think you talked to a bitch on a bitchy day. Maybe you should ask to speak to management and see if that bitch attitude is company policy or something management should know about one of their employees. Don't give up. There are great AD's out there!

Sometimes you might wonder why people work/run business at all. If you being the first, second or ninetyseventh owner of the watch is completely irrelevant. There are only two things that matters:

# First, if your warranty has expired or not. If it hasn't, the service is free (i.e. Breitling pays). If it has, you pay. It isn't more complicated than that. (Provided you have the warranty card. If not, you have to pay anyway but you should still get both the service and the respect.)

# Second, that your watch is authentic. If it's not, I understand that the AD won't accept it. There are occasions with internet sold watches where the serials are removed - then you're still entitled to service but you have to go through the internet company for service, not an AD.

If I were in your clothes I'd go back to the bitchy AD and demand to talk to the owner. Present to him/her (in a humble way) how you were treated and ask if that's their way of doing business. If you then is not satisfied with his'/her's reply, change to another AD for all your business, and let the first place know it.

Keep us updated on your progress.
