I saw this on TZ last night. I still can't get over the bezel.

I agree on the bezel, but I guess I'd have to see what it looks like in person. I persoanlly like the traditional rider tabs as they are characteristic of Breitling. Some of the dial patterns are ok..the MP one was interesting..not sure I would buy one, but interesting.
Thanks for the link Nelson!

The bezel looks very non instrument like. Really not in keeping with the brand IMO

Sorry I just do not see this as an improvement. Different yes but not my cup of tea.

I think I like it even less now. That design is not going to look timeless in 10 years.

It looks like a damn Colt.

And that's fine in a $1000 watch.. not $5000+.

I guess I will need to see one in person but have to say....not a fan of the this bezel. I hope it grows on me as I love Breitling. Maybe the new design will stop with the Chronomat and hope that the Aeromarine Diver Series Case/Bezel design will stay the same...

The B01 still polarising opinions I see!

Two things I've noticed on these "production" pieces as opposed to the publicity ones - firstly they gone a bit "font happy" on this watch. I count 4 different fonts across the bezel, the tachymeter scale, the date wheel and the sub-dials.

And secondly the date wheel on a couple of the black dial models is white, whereas on the publicity models they were all black. OK there is one black one with a black date wheel in those pics, so I'm not quite sure what the standard is. The black date wheel is a nice touch, so it'd be a shame if it's not.

Anyway, I STILL think it looks a bit odd - the fine markings on the bezel and the MASSIVE 70's computer font on the bezel make it look like it was made up of 2 separate watches to me. Still not loving it at all.

totally agree with you driver8. from a design point of view you would never mix more than two fonts together. it's amateurish and inconsistent. i, for one, do not like this watch. i do however, think if they had kept some consistency with the fonts, they could have had a spectacular watch. ~R

Hideous colorways on this model..

Seriously. Green straps? Gold subdials? 1985?
