Today I chose this watch to commemorate my 20th year of employment in an industry where things are often obsolete within 6 to 10 months of its announcement. I figured this is the perfect model to represent this milestone not only because of its tried tested and true heritage but also because of my passion for traveling, and most of all the fact that it’s a mechanical watch with a slide ruler that can be used to calculate just about anything.

A sharp contrast to the Personal Computer yet stills a technical marvel in every sense of the word.

A big thank you! to everyone for their response and feedback to my many inquire on this amazing piece :lingsrock:.

Congratulations on all counts! That is a classic watch, will look great forever, and you can pass it on.
I like the idea of wearing a quality watch, that most people would not know whether you had it for years, or whether it is brand new.
I love your attitude about obsolescence, too. No obsolescence planned into these babies, just pleasure and pride for years to come, with little maintenance.
Cheers,
Carl :canada

Jerome - Couldn't be happier for you! Excellent piece, and looks fantastic on you. I hope you enjoy it.

I would wish you another 20 years of success, but perhaps the ability to retire much sooner than that would be better!

Fantastic posting.....
OMG has it been 20 years already!

I love the World Time Navi.... about the sexiest watch in the Breitling line up.

So great to see the box and hat..... makes us already watch owners see what you get these days....

I must say that new box looks really nice - better than the bakelite junk I got!

GREAT WATCH ! WEAR IT IN GOOD HEALTH.
