I recently bought a B-1 SQ via the Sales Corner at a well known UK watch forum. I am extremely happy with it, especially as it was first sold by an AD in December last year so still has 16 months of warranty.
Anyway, to get to my question. On Sunday evening the digital display started to flash. I wondered what that meant so went through the various functions until I got to T1 where the top display showed EOL. Obviously I realised that was the end of life indicator for the battery. After 5 minutes, the EOL indicator disappeared and the display stopped flashing. Is this normal or should the indicator be displayed continuosly to indicate that the battery needs replacing?
The main reason for asking is that my local AD tells me that Breitling warranty the battery for one year so if it needed replacing it would be done free of charge.
