Like with every automatic watch, they should get an overhaul about every 5 years. Meaning the inside of the watch.
For the outside, you can mix some warm water with a soft soap, and hang your bracelet in it for a little bit, and then use an old soft toothbrush and scrub of the dirt. you can do the same with the case of the watch, but make sure the crowns are pushed and screwed in (if applicable). If you go in the water alot with your watch, you should get the gaskets replaced more often to guarantee the water resistance. I would also recommend NOT to shower with your watch on, to prolong the life of the bracelet, because the soaps are too harsh, and will (when dried) work as sandpaper against the metal.
Hope this was the answer you were looking for. Just ask if you have more questions.

You can just use a soft cloth. It doesn't have to be a special polishing cloth.
You can also just rinse it under lukewarm water.
Quartz watches need an overhaul generally every 8 to 10 years for the inside.
You're welcome.
