The Red Bull air race was excellent this year. My seats were fantastic and Breitling was very well represented. I'll post a couple of pics soon. Was anyone else there? I ran into one guy with a Breitling hat on but he was wearing a Rollie

The view from the Naval Base on Coronado, there was tons of vendors there including Red Bull tents but no Breitling tent.

Oh the TV screen was great to be right next to when looking at the split times and stats on entry speed and g-force etc as well as standings. Plus the commentators voices were broadcast over speakers in real time as well so you can watch the planes and listen to the play by play :)

Red Bull gives you wiiiiinnngss :p

Man I really wanted to go this year but I had a family brunch for mother's day. Maybe I'll take Mom next year to avoid any scheduling conflicts. She likes Breitlings and San Diego so she'll love it.

Yup, I was there. Just got back today. Probably the one of the best motorsport events I've ever been to! I had just picked up a Nikon D80 from my dad so some of my pics didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. But I'm sure it will come in time. Will post a few of the almost 400 pics taken tomorrow...Shutter was constantly going in relation to the amount of beers consumed.

So I had picked up a Nikon D80 with a Nikkor 18-135mm lense from my dad about two days before our trip. Because I wanted to learn the camera, I left it in manual mode which as a result of I think the ISO being too high, some of the pics turned out grainy. Regardless, it was a blast.
