Hi everyone , i have a question on the Le Mans model. Is it possible for this model to be new and never worn. I have been in contact with www.eurowatches.com and they are selling a bronze Le Mans with leather strap for 7900euro with papers and they tell me new , never worn but "warrany" has expired , kind of suspicious.

If it's new then I suspect that it would never have been sold - unlikely with a popular LE like this, but possible I guess. In that case though then the warranty should still be open - it won't start running until the piece is first sold. Sounds more likely that it was sold and then put away somewhere so that it is in 'like new' condition.

It's also rather expensive!

I agree with Roffesian the warranty clock doesn't start ticking until the product is sold I would ask them for an explanation.

Agreed. If the warranty is expired it is not new.

It may have never been worn (i.e. bought by a collector who secreted it away in a safe somewhere), but much more likely (in my humble and slightly cynical opinion!) it is just in as-new / mint condition. I can't imagine a watch from 2003/4 sitting around NEVER being worn...... but I guess it could happen.

In all seriousness, the one I'm selling could probably pass for new if the papers weren't dated, but I wouldn't sell it as such unless the papers were in date.
