Well after many years of salivating at the Breitling Store I finally pulled the trigger and bought a Chronomat with black dial and steel bracelet. I really like the Navitimer but I already have a Tourneau Safari and wanted to have a different style so i went with the Evolution (dont know if that term is outdated) Anyways glad to join the forum, I had been lurking for quite some time but was hesitant to join until I actually became a Breitling owner. This forum is great and all the members seem to "play nice" on the internet. Most forums have their share of bad apples but this place seems cool. Lots of useful info and goo guidance. 1 quick question. Wheres the best place to get a UTC and do i have to replace my bracelet with one that's compatible? |

Congrats, and welcome to BreitlingSource! The UTCs are around, but you generally have to rely on the secondary market as they are discontinued. There was a thread a couple of weeks ago about an AD in Vancouver who had some - carlhaluss and ianmedium should be able to help with details. You will need a UTC compatible bracelet if you are lucky enough to find a UTC for the Chronomat (yes the Evolution name has been dropped - but same watch). |

Thanks. Some of you guys on here have some pretty nice collections. Hopefully one day I can fill my watch box like some of you. Im only 26 so i got some time to get there. Some one once told me the only three things in life a man needs is A good woman, a fast car, and a nice watch. Cheers! |
