What's it say in red on the dial Chronomat B01? And why is the Chronomat B01 DB more expensive than the Navi? It really doesn't matter to me, but I thought that the Navi would be more since it's "new" whereas the B01 is pretty much an LE of a model that's been out for a year.

I don't think this new DB model cheapens the earlier B01's any though, if you bought the earlier one you have the very first Breitling in-house model, pretty cool IMHO.

It says "Automatic" on the Chonomat dial in red, and I guess the price difference is due to the bracelet on the Chronomat and the leather on the Navi.

How the hell did you read that? I thought those prices were just for the head, makes sense now.

LOL! I had a Chronomat B01 in my possession for a while a few months ago and I that's what it said.

PS - I'm just guess on the pricing difference, but looking at Thomas' (Alien's) pictures of the order form, it seems the Chronomat B01 LE is sold on the bracelet while the other is sold as standard on a leather strap.

That makes sense then. I'm glad that I like straps better that bracelets.

The strap/bracelet options on this one are Barenia leather, crocodile leather/Navitimer (steel
version only), Air Racer.

What the hell is that? I'm really not into paying $400 for a piece of leather that's 6 inches long.

I'm loving the fact that it's available on a Navitimer bracelet too! A classic 7 bar Navi bracelet would be essential for this IMO.

Jeez I can see I'm gonna have to buy both the Chronomat AND the Navi at this rate! :?

Spoke to my AD this morning and asked for pricing and availability on SS, 18k and the Chronomat B01. Give me 10 seconds to get the fireproof suit on before reacting to the third one.

I've been told £7130 is the UK RRP for the Navitimer Caliber 01 on the bracelet.

The B01 Navitimer on the bracelet is $8,715 and the Chronomat on the bracelet is $8,150. I was told by my AD that they should have them in November or December.

Highly unlikely. Something could be worked out, but I wouldn't count on anything.

Plus I guess it depends on your relationship with your AD, so discounts are possible.
