I quite like the red accents on it actually, and I think the red date font ties it all together quite nicely. The polished finish is the biggest problem for me as Blackbirds should ALWAYS been brushed IMO.

That said, I'd still take the standard black dial / white markings / brushed case version over any of the later incarnations.

As we now know the model is to be called Blackbird Red Strike. I said it was on its way. You know where you heard it first.
