damn cant take it out of my head now

Once that happens to me, it's usually on my wrist in a few days. But, luckily for my bank account, I can't find an AD in the US that has one and is willing to discount. So for now, no new POC for me, but the hunt will continue.

BTW the photos from Basel of the TO looks really nice. The dial layout works so much better on that watch than a Navitimer, that was a great move by Breitling.

The new POs are very cool, except for the thickness. That just kills them for me, unfortunately. All the more reason I'm glad Omega kept the 2500 for the SMP.

Dudes WTF? It is the most coherent way to respond, point by point. And it takes less time for the busy man about town on the go! As for all caps and bold, it is necessary for the Tapatalk users like me, sometimes, which does not pick up color text. Without it, it just looks like one jumbled post on Tapatalk.

Come on homies, get with the program or I will really start shouting. ;)

Never mind mate, I've never taken offense in strong and efficient language.

And as I wrote, we pretty much seem to have similar opinions regarding the state of the ling. The sad point is how Breitling deal with that.

In Basel, one could barely talk to them. Having similar issues with Rado (I know, not an easy subject but I tend to like them) I casually mentioned my concerns to a salesperson and was invited to talk to product management within five minutes. Now that is listening to the customer. Doesn't matter if they change anything, just good to know they go at it with an open mind.

Oh well,

Yes, it seems that Breitling are going the way that TAG went about 10 years ago - what a crying shame  .

Having seen the pics earlier in this thread showing the Omega PO - I think that's where I may head next. That watch is such a beauty and once I had seen it, I couldn't bring myself to go back and look at the garish monstrosities that Breitling are offering. Sorry Breitling, you have lost your way :guns: . I will now go and hang my head in shame :( .
:lingsrock: (well, they used to).

Breitling had two designs that (with time) could have become classics; the previous SuperOcean and the Steelfish. If they'd let them evolve rather than destroying them they could have begun to challenge the Sub in years to come. Breitling took some big steps backwards in the SO line.

That POC is beautiful, coming from a previous die hard Breitling man.
