Hmmm, I was joking.

Somtimes I use google translator, and if the answer was valet, or valet tray. I don't know what it means.
For valet it says "ayuda de cámara" ayuda = help, de = of, cámara = camera/chamber... so it's a "camera's help" or "chamber's help"?
Or for valet tray... "valet bandeja" and bandeja means tray/plate.
There are words that I don't understand and the translator does not translate well.

Alright...well I feel like a jerk. Sorry - I know you're in Argentina, but your posts are written well enough it seems like you're quite fluent in English. I stand corrected. Now that's two notches I'm going to have to take out of my belt.

JacksonStone, that's ok. No need to apologize.
You didn't know that my enligsh sucks  and I use google translator.
But I learned a lot in this forum, and I don't use it that much than when I began posting here.

OK, if that's a valet tray (and a very nice one at that), what are the buttons for? Just wondering... :huh

And, if I may, 46crew, do turn your wings pin the other way round, it will perfectly match the wings of your CA. Just a thought.

As someone mentioned earlier, I guess the snaps are there so when you un-snap them, the valet lays flat for easy storage when travelling. :)

I never said it was not nice, to the contrary. I just wondered what those buttons were for.

If it is supposed to be a tray, it doesn't look foldable.

I think the speculation is that the sides can unsnap lay flat for easier travel, not so much that it was foldable. However, I still maintain the design is primarily aesthetic.

As for the fraughtness, I was just busting a guy's chops for busting another guy's chops in a different thread. However, a portion of my busting was based on a misundertanding. I think we've buried the hatchet on that one.

I don't know the translation, but a valet tray just a stylish sort of "box" or tray with raised sides for holding the things a gentleman typically keeps on him when he goes out, such as coins, a wallet, a watch, jewelry, etc. It's a fairly useful idea, but a number of household items can provide an adequate substitute. A valet is for someone who wants that function performed with style.
